VIDEO: How to pump up your walk with intervals

Want to take your walking workout to the next level? Try adding intervals — alternating a fast pace with a moderate or slower pace. HIIT (pronounced “hit”) stands for High Intensity Interval Training. It’s a way to do an effective, challenging workout in less time than you would typically do a traditional session of steady-paced moderate or low intensity exercise. This helps increase your fitness level, endurance, speed, and powers up your metabolism so you burn more calories.
