What if you don’t feel like working out?

July 28, 2017 By Michelle Rogers

what if you don't feel like working out?

Some days you just don’t feel like working out. Even though it’s been several years since my healthy lifestyle change, even after all the success, even though I’m a fitness professional now — I still sometimes have days like that. Days when you just want to stay in bed, or just don’t have your usual energy. We all do.

So what do you do when that happens, but you don’t want to get off track? Well, that’s when your routine and training kick in. You do your regular workout anyway. Even if you don’t feel like it.

You may not realize it, but at that moment you are at a crossroad.

Some days you won’t be able to give 100%, and that’s okay. Sometimes we can only give what we have. It’s still better than nothing. So, unless you are sick, just go ahead and do it anyway. I guarantee that you’ll be glad you did!

(Note: Rest days are important, too. Here I’m talking about staying on track and the importance of a scheduled routine in general.)
