I’m still learning about this and discovering what options are out there, so I was happy to find out about Real Purity. It is a family-owned company in Evansville, Ind., established in 1986, that manufactures nontoxic cosmetics, skin care, and bath and body products. None of their products contain parabens, aluminum, or any other possibly toxic ingredients. Everything they make is gluten-free and cruelty-free. Most of the ingredients are sourced naturally from essential oils, extracts and other skin-friendly ingredients.
Recently I had an opportunity to review some of Real Purity’s cosmetics, and was so impressed that I wanted to tell you about them. And better yet, I’ve arranged a special giveaway of five Real Purity cosmetic products to one winner! You’ll receive one lipstick, one pressed powder, one powder blush, one eyeshadow duo, and one Vitamin E stick. You’ll even get to choose your favorite shades!
I’ve tried these items myself and I’m very pleased with the quality and wearability. Here is a little bit of information about each product. Full descriptions and all of the colors are available on their website, if you’d like to find out more.
Eye Shadow: Consisting of only six ingredients, Real Purity eyeshadow is all natural, non-irritating and long-lasting. The duo eyeshadows come in six sets; singles are available in 15 shades. In the video, I’m wearing the Dark Navy and Icy Rose duo; with one of their single eyeshadows in Plum. I am very happy with the quality and wearability of these shadows, and they lasted me all day with no creasing.
Tip: For best results with this or any eye shadow, I recommend using an eyeshadow primer. My favorite is Urban Decay Antiaging Eyeshadow Primer. I wore this to achieve the look in my video.
Pressed Powder: Talc-free, and includes titanium dioxide to help control outbreaks of oily skin and provide additional protection from the sun. With only six ingredients, Real Purity’s array of pressed powders are designed for easily irritated skin. There are four shades available. I’m wearing Translucent.
Vitamin E Lip Balm: Made with only six all-natural ingredients, this colorless balm blends natural sources of Vitamin E to moisturize and heal dry, chapped lips. I like to use it as a base before applying lipcolor. I also apply it at night, when I’m putting on my face creams.
Powder Blush: The blushes contain pycnogenol, an anti-oxidant; and titanium dioxide, which controls outbreaks of oily skin and provides additional protection from the sun and other outdoor elements. The blush comes in 13 colors. I tried Chablis and Desert Rose. They blended easily and wore great.
