In business, defining an organization’s goals and outlining the steps to reach them is a basic part of creating a business plan, also referred to as a strategic plan.
Your weight loss, fitness and healthy living journey can also greatly benefit from creating a plan.
Define your plan + work the plan = success.
While it’s good to be ambitious, make sure your plan is realistic. Keep it doable and flexible, so it’s not derailed by real life.
Here’s an idea to help you get started on defining what is important to you: create a vision board of visual concepts (pictures) and keywords to help you focus on what you want and where you want to be. Find pictures and words online or in magazines, or draw your own, and put them on a posterboard. Add to it or refine it as your ideas emerge.
I’m starting my own vision board today, putting on paper the ideas and words that have been floating around in my head for a while.
